At Truly Pilates the client really does come first. I endeavour to create an environment where the customer feels safe, and at ease. I want to help relieve any pain, stress or discomfort to your body through improving core strength and body awareness, in a friendly environment.
A bit about me, I started my working life training as a dancer from the age of nine and went on to compete in many dance championships and performed at venues around the world. A love of all things fitness drove me to start a career in the fitness industry. I am a level 3 qualified advanced personal trainer and GP referral certified. I have always loved the movement of Pilates, and have seen how beneficial it is to all body types and abilities, and so I gained my Stott Pilates mat work certification in February 2012. Stott Pilates is regarded as one of the worlds leaders in the Pilates field. For more information on the Stott approach, please see the 'What is Stott Pilates?' tab. I have been teaching ever since and have helped many people ease their pain, get back to the sports they love, and rehabilitate them after injury. I have furthered my Pilates learning journey by completing my training for my advanced mat work qualification, Stott Pilates Reformer, and studio qualifications and regularly attend courses and workshops to keep myself up to date.
